The Chaidari, Athinon Avenue and Schisto Avenue diversions were lifted the same evening. If you are driving to Corinth or the Peloponnese, still check your route before you leave, but the reason now is the much bigger fire around Megara and Vilia further west, which has its own page.

By 19:02 that evening traffic had been restored around Chaidari and the Athinon Avenue and Schisto Avenue diversions were lifted, leaving only the diversion on the peripheral towards Attiki Odos, with no later notice either way. The Attiki Odos motorway itself was not reported closed. (as of 2026-07-31)
• Restriction had been lifted: 112 messages for two Chaidari areas. Evacuation messages were sent for Afaia Chaidariou and Ano Dasos Chaidariou on 31 July. The front was delimited that night and nothing since has reported the fire burning. (as of 2026-07-31)
