Privacy: the short version is "we don't collect it"

Advertising and privacy

The site may load Google AdSense advertising scripts. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar identifiers to serve, measure and limit ads, subject to your browser settings and any consent controls shown in your region.

Anonymous usage counts

We use TelemetryDeck, a privacy-first analytics service, to count page views. It is cookieless, collects no personal data, cannot identify you, and cannot follow you across the web. It tells us things like "the Spain page was viewed 40 times today" — nothing about who you are.

What the server sees

The site runs on Cloudflare Workers. Like any web server, Cloudflare processes standard request data (IP address, user agent) to deliver the pages and protect against abuse.

The email briefing

If you subscribe to the briefing, your email address is stored by our email provider solely to send it, with double opt-in and an unsubscribe link in every message. It is never sold or shared.

Partner links

Some links are clearly labelled as partner ("Ad") links. If you buy through one, the partner may pay this site a commission at no cost to you. Partners don't receive any data about you from us; their own sites have their own policies.
