The fires we can source at Siniscola were inland or beside the trunk road, in June, and both were worked from the air by the regional forestry corps. Traffic on the SS131 DCN was interrupted during one of them and has not been reported closed since. There is a newer satellite signal here that no authority has commented on.

Had reopened: SS131 DCN at kilometre 100, Oreo locality, traffic interrupted during a roadside fire. Fire in vegetation beside the trunk road spread quickly in wind and heat and traffic was stopped while a helicopter worked it from the air. No closure has been reported on this road since. Advice in force at the time: No authority statement after June. The Corpo forestale ran the Spiaggia S'Aliterru fire on 14 June with helicopters from the Anela and Fenosu bases and a fire operations director from the Siniscola forestry station. Nothing published names Siniscola after that, and satellite heat has been recorded here at the end of July. Checked again on 5 August 2026. (as of 2026-08-05)
