How to plan the route
Keep two exits
Prefer stops where you can leave in two directions. Avoid narrow forest tracks, one-way ravines and cliff roads during high-risk days.Arrive early
Reach campsites and aires in daylight so you can see exits, reception notices, assembly points and smoke direction.Move before smoke traps you
